Macro Friday

The whole point of Macro shooting to me is to zoom in on a singular subject, get as close to it as possible and make it the focus of the picture. (I have totally bumped my 5QF Vlog so scroll down to see that!)

Today's submission is....

This is a page out of my bible, but I was focusing on how the verse talks about not worrying about your life because if God takes care of the birds; how much more important are you?

I thought this was a perfect example of not macro shooting with my camera, but how we need to apply some macro viewing in our own lives. So often we get caught up in watching the news, worrying about finances, worrying about what others think, etc. that we lose our focus by trying to see the big picture. If we could look through a macro lens at our life and focus singularly on the fact that God loves us so much and will provide for us more than the birds, the rest of all those worries get kind of blurry.

Hi there,
Coming over from the blog frog and the 31DBB challenge.
Interesting perspective in your latest post. Never hurts to take a step back and look at the bigger picture in our lives.
Your blog design is very clever and a really nice pay off to the whole theme of your blog.
Have a great day!

Okay.. SO I maybe could not jump on a plane tonight to photograph your kids.. cause GOd needed me to come here and read you words, ( or His words as the case may be). You macro'd my favorite verse, and just at a time that I need to be reminded... BTW, You take amazing pics.. so take your kiddos your own self...I thought of you the other day, while I was picking up crayons, and decided to take some macro shots.. They are good, but you should be the one to take those!!!!

And regardless of the outcom eof this photo fun.. you are a Winner!

PS, Warm bread does sound nice!

I really, really love this. That verse always has meant so much to me.

When I have struggled through things, I've always gotten a lot of peace from the song "His eye is on the sparrow"...I sing it often.

One day, I looked up it's origins, and was AMAZED to find that it was an older woman from our own very sleepy town, who inspired the song, back in 1905.

Thanks for posting this... brought a big smile to my face!
